The Charlotte Jewish News has been serving the Jewish community since 1979 with a monthly (except July) publication that reports on news and upcoming events of local Jewish agencies, accomplishments of members of the local Jewish community, opinions/editorials from local personalities, and stories about Jewish holidays, rituals, and events in Charlotte, the U.S., and Israel.
CJN is distributed in print, free of charge, directly to more than 4,600 homes and businesses and has an additional monthly online readership of more than 1,000.
We’re more than a paper
In addition to our digital readership, CJN serves the Charlotte Jewish community with our dynamic website, providing current news stories from Charlotte and around the world. Through social media, CJN is staying relevant by distributing content to its readership the way it is consumed today — in an online, searchable, shareable format with short news stories that can be read quickly and shared with friends. Our digital options allow us to provide news to our readers all month long.
The Charlotte Jewish community is supportive of local businesses. Our readers look to the CJN when making decisions about where to spend their money. And with advertising as CJN’s main source of revenue — your advertising helps keep your community newspaper alive and Celebrating Jewish Life!
